From DIY Struggles to Growth-Ready Websites
I used to struggle with building my own website — just like you.
The Beginnings — How it all started
At 19, fresh out of a sound engineering degree, I knew my portfolio was the key to landing a job. So I did what any determined creative would do: I Googled “How to build a portfolio website?” and got lost in Wix, Squarespace and WordPress tutorials.
I chose WordPress because it powers the most websites (43.4% as of October 2025, for my data-loving friends).
Spoiler: I had no clue what I was doing.
I binge-watched YouTube tutorials, devoured blog posts, combed through documentation. Eventually, I settled for a basic WordPress.com template and told myself, “better done than perfect.”
It worked — technically. But it didn’t work for me.
Honestly? It wasn’t pretty. I wasn’t proud. And looking back, that site probably cost me more opportunities than it created.
But that messy first site planted the seed for something unexpected — my passion for designing websites that actually work for people, businesses, and goals.
Now, I see you. You’ve outgrown DIY too.
You’ve grown since your DIY days.
Your business is thriving, your reputation solid, your systems smooth.
But that old site?
It’s still hanging around — outdated plugins, broken links, constant updates, visuals that don’t reflect who you’ve become.
It's time to leave that behind.
You deserve a website that mirrors your growth — one that’s clear, confident, and effortless.
A site that runs 24/7 (no coffee breaks, no complaints) and gives you back your time and energy to focus on what you do best.
Because what got you here won’t get you there.
And that’s where I come in.

My Philosophy on Design & Strategy
Design should work hard.
Your website is a business tool, not decoration.
Clarity beats complexity.
No one should need a manual to navigate your site.
Personal > Generic.
Your brand should feel like you, not a template.
Growth without burnout.
Your website should save your time — not steal it.
Get to know me beyond the work
I’m not just about pixels and plugins (or code). I’m a lifelong learner, a curious creative, and a strategist with a soft spot for beautiful, functional design.
Here’s a bit more about me:
Design Obsessive
Hand lettering, art nouveau, art deco, wabi-sabi and more. I love design that’s layered, thoughtful, and human.
Nature Lover
Kayaking, paddle boarding, horse riding, ice skating. I recharge in the “occasional wilderness.” Cold weather? My creative fuel. (Also, I’m a proud starfish queen.)
Bollywood & Classical Arts Fan
Devdas? Seen it more times than I can count. I live for the music, stories and emotion of indian arts, dance, ragas, and cinema.
Heart for Giving Back
Whether it’s volunteering, helping animals, or supporting causes close to my heart, purpose drives everything I do.
Rum Lover
Born where the world’s best rum is made — it’s practically part of my DNA. Beer is my nemesis. Cocktails without rum? I’ll try, but don’t get your hopes up.
Meet my assistant, Timothy!
This is Timothy. Outside of work, he goes by Tom, but in a professional setting he prefers his fake full name. It’s more… serious. He takes this role very seriously. I do not.
Timothy is my self-appointed, non-negotiable assistant who has successfully negotiated a low workload, a flexible schedule, and unlimited naps.
He believes his role is to supervise my work hours and judge my decisions — usually by sitting directly on my desk, placing one paw on my arm for moral support and light judgment, walking across my laptop to type important gibberish, or turning my music off at random. He calls this “management”.
His daily schedule is rigid and productivity-focused:
Eat. Walk on desk. Watch me. Eat. Sleep. Repeat.
Deadlines are handled by delegation. Feedback is ignored unless it’s positive. Motivation is food-based. He claims to be a social media manager and content creator; this has yet to be verified.
Timothy is compensated with wet food, playtime, and cat-hotel holidays. Late payment results in loud meowing and emotional pressure.
He frequently joins client calls uninvited, and rumors about him snoring loudly are, unfortunately, true.
